Will this replacement for the HP CF401X void my printer's warranty?

No. Under Canadian consumer-protection law, a manufacturer can't void your printer's warranty just because you used a compatible cartridge, the same way a non-OEM oil filter can't void a car warranty. Your printer stays protected.
